Opting Out of eXelate’s Delayed Ads
eXelate provides an advertising service called Delayed Ads™ which enables advertisers to use cookies delivered by participating websites to serve relevant advertising based on the websites a user visited or the searches they have conducted.
How Delayed Ads™ work: A user visits a website or does a search that is relevant to a certain vertical such as travel or finance. Instead of immediately showing that user a relevant ad, a Delayed–Ad “cookie” is set. Sometime later on, when a relevant advertising space for the user is available, the Delayed-Ad cookie is identified and a Delayed Ad is displayed.
As explained above, eXelate and its third party networks and advertisers use cookie files to collect anonymous web-surfing information. No personally identifiable information is collected through these cookies.
eXelate believes in consumer choice and enables the consumer to exercise this choice by providing the ability to opt out of the Delayed Ad cookie program.
