Current Opening: Director of Agency Sales & Development
Job Description
The Director of Agency Development reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for creating, nurturing and expanding relationships with eXelate’s Online Ad Agency partners. The Director of Agency Development will prospect, inform, and evangelize the use of eXelate data as a key factor in the agency’s online media plans. We are looking for an outgoing, analytical sales professional who builds strong relationships and loyalty with customers and co-workers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work directly with leading digital agencies to grow their business on the eXelate eXchange via driving pull through sales with eXelate Network partners
- Close data sales deals directly with agency buying groups
- Ensure that agencies require and request eXelate data in their targeting practices
- Participate in the development of agency focused marketing strategies and materials
- Study the market to identify potential business opportunities and business partners
- Act as a direct outreach of eXelate to the agency community via participation in industry events, conferences and client entertainment activity
Requirements
- At least 5 years of prior experience selling online advertising to agencies at a senior level ; behavioral targeting background highly preferred
- Strong rolodex of online agency contacts and a track record of successfully selling high value, sophisticated media products including BT
- Ability to prospect, pitch and close direct sales
- Strong team building, personnel and sales management skills
- Highly analytical, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients, tasks and responsibilities concurrently
- Deep understanding of the online ad industry, experience ad targeting and optimization
- Very high drive to succeed in a competitive, fast-paced, cutting edge market
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- High energy and enthusiasm to develop the next big thing in internet advertising
- Impeccable honesty, integrity, and ethics
Location
The position is located in our New York City headquarters. Regional travel of at least 30% will be required.
Current Opening: Account Manager, Publisher Development
Job Description
The account manager reports to the Director of Publisher Development and is responsible for creating, nurturing and expanding relationships with eXelate’s publishing clients. The account manager will manage, trouble shoot discrepancies, optimize and provide superior service to our key accounts. We are looking for an outgoing, analytical professional who builds strong relationships and loyalty with customers and co-workers. Candidates should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work directly with Publisher customers to grow their business on the eXchange
- Interact with the eXelate Lab to optimize data collected and map information to all relevant segments
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and technical issues with help of our tech team
- Assist in billing procedures
- Provide day-to-day outreach and reporting to customers
- Facilitate the start of new clients by ensuring all documents and tech specs are in place.
- Study the market to identify potential business opportunities and business partners
- Initiate, follow-up, negotiate and close business partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or substantial equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of prior experience in the online advertising space; ad ops management and behavioral targeting background highly preferred
- Experience in client management and partnership growth activity
- Highly analytical, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients, tasks and responsibilities concurrently
- A deep understanding of the online advertising industry, experience with ad serving systems and exchanges a plus
- Very high drive to succeed in a competitive, fast-paced, cutting edge market.

The Account Manager reports to the Director of Network Development and is responsible for creating, nurturing and expanding relationships with eXelate’s Ad Network customers. The Account Manager will manage, optimize and provide superior service to our key network accounts. This is a client facing, relationship focused position. We are looking for an outgoing, yet analytical professional who builds strong relationships and loyalty with customers and co-workers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work directly with Ad Networks to grow their business on the eXchange
- Up-sell the value of eXelate’s eXchange and solutions
- Interact with the eXelate Lab to optimize Network campaigns and craft optimal partner targeting strategies
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and technical issues with help of our tech team
- Provide day-to-day outreach and reporting to Ad Network customers
